Brett graduated magna cum laude from Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO) in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and a minor in Business Administration.

Brett met his wife, Ashley, at SEMO in 2008, and they have been married since 2014. They have two daughters, Scarlett and Natalie, and a son named Owen. In their free time, they enjoy spending time together outdoors, exploring trails, parks, and lakes.
